First Aid Training Course

College of Education – Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in coordination with the College of Medicine, will hold a First Aid Training Course for university students, lecturers, staff members, as well as for citizens from outside the university, from October 19, 2025, to October 29, 2025.

The number of participants is limited to 20–30 individuals only.

The course will be supervised by:

  • Asst. Lect. Rizgar Ramadan Darwish, specialist in Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy.

  • Dr. Abdullah Saad Mohi, specialist in General Medicine and Surgery.

The course will cover the following topics:

 

  • Day 1: Introduction to first aid and its importance.

  • Day 2: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

  • Day 3: Airway obstruction and choking cases.

  • Day 4: Wounds, sprains, bleeding control, and burns.

  • Day 5: Fractures, dislocations, and safe evacuation of injured persons.

  • Day 6: Fainting, seizures, epilepsy, and head injuries.

  • Day 7: Poisoning, insect and animal bites.

  • Day 8: Practical and field training.

  • Day 9: Final discussion and certificate distribution.
